We have had a successful Carnival and our artistes have been suitably rewarded. Now these consti- tute very handsome earnings for these performers.

The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) wants to clear the air on the accusations levelled against the operations of its Arima Registration Area Office, which are, in the main, unfounded and without substantive evidence.

So the Carnival has come and gone again, but not before the usual “for and against comments.”  Before the two big days, it was all praises for the return to the big stage at the Savannah and now, after the event, come the complaints.

I would like to publicly thank the Red Cross and the doctors, nurses and ancillary staff at Ward 53 of the Port-of-Spain General Hospital. I was rushed by ambulance from the Dimanche Gras show in the wee hours of Carnival Monday.

The people’s partnership’s promise of constitutional reform to address the shortcomings of our current constitution is definitely a matter which the Government should treat with a sense of urgency. We have witnessed in the past the abuse of power and interference in the...

The Clico Policyholders Group (CPG) wishes to place on record our gratitude to the Commission of Enquiry for its wisdom in designating the CPG as a Party to the Enquiry. As such our new locus now affords the CPG the rare opportunity of appearing before the Enquiry either in...
