Time to dig up the old Students’ Companion

Wednesday, July 12, 2017

Hmmm.... flipping through the pages of my early education in my mind, I grudgingly remembered my Students’ Companion. Little did I know how insightful this book was, and is. On plain pages stood out profound wisdom: “Show me your friends and I will show you who you are”; “ Birds of a feather flock together”.

These words are certainly worthy to heed especially children, teens, adults and politicians. What about, “loose lips sink ships”, or “think twice before you speak”—also important to all, even business tycoons, government finance officials. And what about, “A poor craftsman always blames his tools”, something for our leaders.

Once again, “A house divided against itself cannot stand,” whispers to the JLSC. So no wonder the book is a best seller.
