T&T Knight Riders are the champs

Why am I not surprised? Their captain correctly predicted they would play their opponents four times in the tournament. Again he was right.

The venue was filled to capacity. Somebody must have laughed all the way to the bank. The same one person who would have signed all the individual cheques. People who never kicked a lime in their life were there.

I am a dirty old man, the one your mother warned you about. I absolutely enjoyed looking at the scantily-dressed women wining while allegedly advertising certain products. What does that have to do with cricket, I know not, but who cares?

We celebrated Halloween early, dressing up from captain to cook.

While we were in a modern day version of The Emperor’s New Clothes, England won the Test series beating a second-string West Indies team.

Winning these fete matches does nothing to improve West Indies cricket, sorry to say.

Look at the batting techniques, all wrong, hitting across the line.

Is this the type of cricket we want? Fete match cricket?

For what it is worth, congrats T&T. Brings back memories of Kerry Packer’s circus in the 70s.

Not only Trini know crime.
